More than a simple computer peripheral method, a real artistic approach is used. His musical approach is achieved entirely with machines, in order to be able to react immediately, by reshaping an already too ephemeral minimal techno in its original form.
Having inhaled the vapors of jamaican dub over numerous years, at the end of the 90’s Nemelka discovered the minimalist and sophisticated productions of Plastikman. An addiction for electronic music was born.
At the beginning of 2000s, the metamorphosis of techno music was significant, subtle and attractive. Less is more! The purge of a Mies Van der Rohe coupled with the electronic tones of the moment seemed to give the clubbing world a more cerebral and deeper character…
Following Richie Hawtin’s appearance at Weetamix in 2003, a renowned club in Geneva, Nemelka began criss-crossing Europe, frequenting the best clubs and festivals, always in search of the most hard-hitting, innovative and attractive sounds.
His inspiration always comes from the same man, as a Grandmaster Flash hip-hop pioneer, Hawtin hasn’t stopped innovating in spite of the controversy he generates, and still delights both the purists and his fans. The result is unambiguous: electronic music being produced through machines, it’s not an exaggeration to state that they offer a perfect interface in order for the musician, the music and the public to be in symbiosis!
A collector for several years, Nemelka now suggests to share his musical knowledge using his own electronic instrument.
Let’s play, let’s contribute, and let’s see what happens!
